JC Simon brings three decades of dance-floor instinct to a sound built around driving house, soaring vocals, progressive melodies, and the deeper pull of after-hours. An Ottawa-based DJ, promoter, and event producer with Ohio roots and a longstanding connection to Vermont, he brings musical range and a community-first spirit to clubs, Pride celebrations, and festival gatherings across borders.

His historic appearances span from Whistler Winter Pride to Burning Man, where his 2025 sets included the BAAAHS Gay Block Party and Grilled Cheese Experiment. Whether playing an intimate gathering or an open-air dance floor, JC builds sets around movement, emotion, and the shared release that makes a party memorable.

That same instinct drives his work as a promoter. He co-founded and runs HOTT STUFF, Ottawa’s quarterly 2SLGBTQ+ house music party, and presents HOTT DECK alongside Montreal’s Diskommander, taking that energy onto the Ottawa River for a sold-out Pride boat party each summer. In northern Vermont, he helps carry forward the spirit through Brohaus Vinterfesten, bringing friends, DJs, and revelers from both sides of the border together for a one-of-a-kind winter getaway in Montgomery for a weekend of music, winter adventure, and queer connection.

JC’s foundation reaches from regional nightlife to FM and satellite radio, including Sirius’ 36 The Beat’s “ADRENALIN” mixshow. A founding owner of Ohio’s Utopia Video Nightclub and co-founder of Snow Pride of Canada, he understands the party from behind the decks and behind the scenes.
